| Chinese top advisor meets Cambodian King |

BEIJING, Dec. 8 (Xinhua) -- Jia Qinglin, chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, met here Friday with Cambodian King Norodom Sihamoni.
Jia spoke highly of the contribution of the former Cambodian King Norodom Sihanouk to promoting Sino-Cambodian ties.
He said China and Cambodia are good neighbors and partners of comprehensive cooperation. The two countries had trusted each other, conducted reciprocal economic cooperation, and maintained coordination in the international arena.
The Chinese government valued relations with Cambodia and would work to advance them, he said.
Sihamoni expressed gratitude for China's long-term economic assistance and for its contribution to Cambodia's national reconciliation, peace and development.
He said Cambodian royal family and government would continue to enhance relations with China.
